Amazon Warehouse Deals is offering 20% off many items today. Eligible items will be labeled above the used prices and the discount will be automatically applied on the checkout page. These Warehouse Deals items are often a great way to score a discount and it’s all the better if you can stack with something like 5% back via the Point Debit Card right now.
The Deal
- Amazon is offering 20% off on select Warehouse Deals items (wide selection available)
- Direct link to sale items (our affiliate link)
Quick Thoughts
I’ve had very good luck with Warehouse Deals over the years. Not every “like new” item I’ve bought has truly been like new, but most of them have been excellent and in quite a few cases I’ve had items that I’m not sure had even been opened before (YMMV as it really depends on the person who checked the item back in to Amazon’s warehouse in terms of how good “like new” is vs “good”, etc). The discounts can make it well worthwhile if you don’t mind buying a previously-returned item.
As an example of the savings available, I saw this sit-stand desk as I browsed items:
As you can see, both “Used-Very Good” and “Used-Link New” are available and eligible for the 20% discount at checkout. In the example above, I’d probably pay less than 3 bucks more for a “like new” condition in the original packaging, but again it is worth repeating that your mileage may vary as condition grading is sometimes spot on and sometimes not.
At any rate, this sit stand desk does indeed come down to $71.48 in the cart.
Use the Point Debit Card for 5% back in points and you’re at $68.25 net. That’s not bad for an item that normally goes for $180 and has 4.5 stars with almost 1900 reviews.
I have often used Warehouse Deals to save a significant chunk on items like that. I’ve also generally had good luck reselling Warehouse Deals items (sometimes you can get great deals out of season like buying air conditioners in the winter, etc). Not every single used item is eligible, but many are and I don’t think there is any limit as to the discount as I found items in the $1,000+ range that were still eligible for the 20% discount. If you’re stacking, keep in mind that the Point debit card allows for 5x points (5% back) up to $50 back on $1,000 during this offer period and those points take 30 days to post.
H/T: Slickdeals
The Amazon card (from chase) also gives you 5% and you can use that on Amazon as well. I don’t buy to re-sell and have only used the Warehouse a couple times but pretty sure it applies there as well.
