Quick Thoughts
Nice deal if you’re planning a trip that you could book through Air France or KLM. Keep in mind that Delta Global Upgrade Certificates can now be used on most of the cheaper fare classes on both Air France and KLM, so this could be a way to make your cheap flight even cheaper before you ultimately upgrade it.
Think i can lock in the savings by booking something and then cancel to get a voucher?
Was someone able to redeem the offer? I made a purchase for 1400 but didn’t get a standard amex offer email telling me that offer was used.
I have an offer to buy points from Air France and get an 80% bonus….wondering if the Amex offer would work for that and if would make good sense?
That’s in the third bullet point under key terms. It excludes mileage purchases. I have no idea whether or not they would really be excluded in practice, but it looks like they sell their points through points.com, so I don’t think that Air France will come up as the merchant and it likely will not work.
