Quick Thoughts
This could obviously be a good deal if you’re in the market for a new bag. Away is a popular brand, particularly for carry-on bags. The original carry-on is currently $275 before any discounts, so two of them would be more than enough to trigger the offer. Alternatively, an aluminum carry-on starts at $625 at the time of writing. Getting $200 back on that brings the price to a relatively reasonable range for an aluminum carry-on bag.
Keep in mind that Away is on shopping portals, so you can probably stack here for even further savings. The nice thing is that you’ll get the portal rewards on the full purchase price, even the part that is ultimately rebated by the card.

I have never understood how to stack purchases on shopping portals. Is there a link or info on this somewhere?
Do you understand how to use shopping portals in general? Pick your favorite portal that offers a reward for buying from this merchant, then use the Chase credit card that has the Chase Offer. The portal will pay its promised reward on the full purchase price, and the charge to the credit card account will separately trigger the Chase Offer and you will receive their cashback as well.
thank you so much. I have never used shopping portals. How many are there and which ones are the best?
Take a look at https://www.cashbackmonitor.com, which lists all the shopping portals. There really isn’t one that is “best” per se, but some are easier to deal with than others when purchases don’t track. Rakuten I think has the best customer service.
Wonderful resource. Thank you
