UPDATE 9/24/2014: This feature now appears to be fixed.

Amex Bluebird and Serve cards allow users to add money automatically via their “Scheduled Add” option under “Add Money”.  Unfortunately, since September 5th, this feature seems to be broken.  As of September 5th, both cards still allow scheduling the adds, and send email confirmations ahead of time, but don’t actually add money on the date scheduled.  At least, that has been my experience this month and it has been confirmed by several readers.

So, if you rely on Scheduled Adds with Bluebird or Serve, log into your account and check to see if the Add actually happened.  If not, you’ll have to do add money manually.

does this mean that the credit card loads are not working for serve?

They work when done manually. I just heard word that the scheduling feature may have been fixed. Need to test.
