Now through Apr 25, HP.com is offering increased rewards for purchases through many shopping portals. Today’s rates are increased at American AAdvantage eShopping, United MileagePlus Shopping, Alaska MileagePlan Shopping, the Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping portal and Delta SkyMiles shopping. The increased rates can be seen at Cashbackmonitor.com:
However, if you have a purchase that can wait until Tuesday, we have learned that on April 25th only, the HP.com payouts will be increased to 12 miles per dollar at both United MileagePlus Shopping and Delta SkyMiles Shopping. If you have a large purchase to make, you may want to hold off until then (though prices can always change).
See our guide to HP Extreme Stacking laptops, tablets, printers, Ink, and more for more information on building yourself a great deal.
While this compares very well to the 15-month historical high payouts on HP, it’s a bit hard to see that due to a day when ShopMyWay — formerly Marriott’s shopping portal — offered 150 points per dollar:
Don’t be disappointed if you missed that payout — I bought a bunch of HP stuff that day and did not get 150 points per dollar despite all of my screen shots and emails with support :-). However, with the increased payout on Tuesday, you should successfully get paid out on a much more reasonable (but still excellent) 12 miles per dollar.
Any idea if Ink cards treat HP as office supplies? That would be a nice bonus.
Do you mind me asking how you know about the future rate change? Just inside info? Do you often hear about future portal rate changes?
Thanks!
