Update: These offers have expired.

Earlier today, we posted a quick deal with increased offers on the Amex Delta Gold SkyMiles and Amex Delta Platinum SkyMiles credit cards. When posting that Quick Deal and updating our Best Offers page, I missed the fact that these increased offers also apply to the business version of each card. Details below (and see the previous Quick Deal for the personal card offers). Note the key difference with the business cards being that the Platinum Delta SkyMiles card requires an additional thousand dollars in spending over the personal version to receive the sign up bonus.

The new offers below apply to the Amex Gold Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card and the Amex Platinum Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card. You can earn 60,000 Delta SkyMiles (Gold Delta SkyMiles Business) or 70,000 Delta SkyMiles + 10K MQMs (Platinum Delta SkyMilesBusiness ). You can additionally get a statement credit on either card for spending money at Delta in your first few months.

To put those offers in context, 70K Delta SkyMiles is enough for one-way business class on Delta between North America and Europe. Availability isn’t amazing, but isn’t bad either. Here is business class from Raleigh-Durham to Paris over a 5-week period from June into July (most – if not all – of these 70K dates are a direct flight on Delta:

Final Word

I believe these offers are historical high public offers on either card. They both provide excellent value for meeting the spend. The Platinum Delta SkyMiles Business is a much more rewarding card long-term for Delta flyers who can maximize the use of the companion certificate and need help with MQMs for status qualification, but the signup bonus on the Gold card makes it an attractive offer if you have never had the card before. Note that both offers exclude those who have or have had the card at any time in the past. You can read more about these cards on our Best Offers page or by clicking the links to our pages about each separate card above.

Sharee

what is the limit though on how many amex cards you can hold, is it 5 right, and does it apply to business cards or only personal?

Also right there is a limit of 2 approvals per 90 day period, so if I go the SPG personal and biz two months ago i should wait another month before applying for both of these?

Bill

Does a Delta GC at their website count toward a purchase?
