It used to be possible to use Amex Offers Sync with Twitter and Facebook to automate the addition of offers to your cards.
If you’d relied on that method to save you time, there’s some bad news. Syncing Amex Offers with Twitter and Facebook is no more. It has ceased to be. It’s expired and gone to meet its maker.
If you try syncing your account now, you’ll simply see the following:
That also means that if you had any applets set up with IFTTT to automatically tweet things like #amexstaples when a new offer was launched, that’ll no longer work.
Another benefit of Amex Offers Sync was that third party American Express cards (such as Wells Fargo Propel) could be synced to add the offers. As they don’t have an americanexpress.com login, it appears that it’s no longer possible to add offers to those cards.

For most of us, that’ll mean using the multi-tab browser method to add offers to each card under the same login. It’s time consuming, especially if you also have several authorized user cards. However, the offers can be so profitable that it’s worth the time and effort.
Let’s just hope the multi-tab browser method doesn’t get ixnayed in the coming months…
