There have been several sales to Hawaii recently (e.g. here, here and here.) We can add to that list today as Delta’s having a sale with Basic Economy tickets going for under $350, including cities on the east coast.

Delta Sale To Hawaii

The Deal

  • Fly round trip from various cities in the continental US to Hawaii for less than $350.

Key Terms

  • Tickets are Basic Economy which doesn’t include checked baggage, seats are assigned after check-in, etc.

Quick Thoughts

There’s good availability to Hawaii from all kinds of US cities, including some on the east coast. A search from Newark to Honolulu in September has 24 date combinations for $350 or less (albeit with two stops)…

Delta Sale To Hawaii EWR-HNL

Washington DC to Honolulu in July has plenty of availability…

Delta Sale To Hawaii WAS-HNL

…while Chicago to Honolulu in August has great availability:

Delta Sale To Hawaii CHI-HNL

The dates listed above aren’t exhaustive – Chicago especially has great availability from now all the way through to mid-December. There are also other cities available, so you might find low fares from your local airport.

As mentioned above, these are Basic Economy fares so be aware of what that entails. Having said that, it’s possible to bypass some of the fare restrictions with one of Delta’s credit cards issued by American Express. With one of those you’ll get a free checked bag, priority boarding and more.

Although these fares have been available since yesterday (March 26), it’s unlikely that this fare sale will last much longer so book ASAP if these cities, dates and fare type work for you.
