God Save The Points published a flight deal yesterday for travel from Newark to Paris for $149 one way or $307 round trip. While looking at flight options, I noticed an even cheaper option – Newark to Paris on Primera Air for only $283 round trip.
There are almost a dozen days in November offering the $99 fare from Newark to Paris.
The return leg is more expensive, but there’s good availability with the lowest $184 fare.
If you’d like to visit London, there are still a handful of $99 fares from Newark to London Stansted in June.
As with the Paris flights, the return leg from London is more expensive, but still not too bad at $213.
If you’d like to travel next month, there are $99 fares from Boston to London Stansted in May.
Flights back to Boston that same month are available from $213.
With the flights being on Primera Air, there are a few things to bear in mind. As the key terms mention above, your ticket only includes one carry-on item (21″ x 18″ x 10″) and one personal item (10″ x 13″ x 8″), so be prepared to travel light.
One checked bag costs $44.99 each way, seat assignments are $39.99-$59.99 and meals cost from $14.99 for a sandwich and drink up to $49.99 for a premium beef or fish meal. Paying by credit card costs $12, although you can avoid that fee by paying via bank transfer.
If you’re happy to travel light, bring your own food and don’t have high expectations, this could be a great way to visit Europe on the cheap.
