Quick Thoughts
There are some awesome deals to be had. Check out this hotel I looked up for a random Tuesday in November:
With this booking, you would earn 35,000 LifeMiles on a $390 booking. That would be a great deal on the miles alone — getting the hotel night as well is icing on the cake. Keep in mind that these bookings won’t earn hotel points or elite credits and most likely will not get access to any elite benefits. I imagine this might sell out of packages before the 5 hours are up, so if you’re looking for a hotel booking, I’d look sooner rather than later.

[…] 4x miles for hotel bookings. That’s not quite as good as the time they offered 5x miles (See: [Dead] HOT deal: 5x LifeMiles with hotel bookings (30K on $390 booking), but that offer sold out in just a few hours. Today’s promotion (valid 9/11/19 only) started at […]
[…] last time they ran a similar promotion, it was with a slightly better offer (5x miles — see: [Dead] HOT deal: 5x LifeMiles with hotel bookings (30K on $390 booking), but it sold out in just a few hours. Today’s promotion (valid 12/5/18 only) started at 10am […]

So 75K for $720 two-night stay would be a pretty big score I guess?
Absolutely. Enough for Biz to Europe or almost enough to anywhere in Asia. Looks like it’s dead now.
Yeah, it’s dead. That’s odd, right? It was supposed to go another couple hours.. Thanks for the heads up, though.
I didn’t pull the trigger as my wife didn’t want to stay at the hotel and drop the $700. If I was low on points, I would have done it and not stayed there but have more than I can use right now. Thanks for the great tip.
Not that odd. The terms said it’d be done when they hit 2,000,000 miles. If the average person booked something earning 40,000 miles on this, only about 50 people could get in. Not everyone booked a package that big…but some surely went bigger…
that’s fast…
Hmm, 4 nights in Dec at The Cove at Atlantis $3120 after taxes with 205,000 miles, I suppose capped at 200,000. That’s not a bad return,
Did you try breaking it into two separate stays in order to beat the cap? Or does the rate go up?
Rate stays the same but miles change to 190k (70k + 120k) if doing 2+2 days.
