Quick Thoughts
Bank of America has offered a similar deal at least once in the past. I was targeted for that one which offered a $20 bonus rather than only $10.
The interesting thing is that I took advantage of that offer and received the $20 statement credit. I’ve now been targeted for this $10 bonus offer as well, so it doesn’t look like they’re targeting first-time users of the app. They might possibly be aiming it at customers that haven’t used the app in x number of months (or at all). It’s been about six months since I used it as I deleted it from my phone once I’d paid a credit card bill.
The email subject line was ‘Get a $10 Bonus Offer’. They might test it out with different subject lines though, so keep an eye on your emails as it’s an easy $10.
I got an email encouraging me to use the app, but no $10 bonus. I’m a brand new Bank of America customer though, just got the Amtrak cc. Perhaps they’ll send one in the future.
Any place to get the Android app other than from the Google machine?
This reminds me I never received the money from last time
