Additionally, blackout dates of March 4-6, 2021 apply for travel from Alaska and March 12-14 for travel to Alaska - Discount valid between all Alaska Airlines cities, excluding Prudhoe Bay (SCC). Based on published fare routings and some cities may not be available. Not all flights operate on all days.
- Travel to Hawaii, Mexico, or Costa Rica is valid Sundays through Wednesdays.
Travel from Hawaii, Mexico, or Costa Rica is valid Tuesdays through Fridays.
All other coach travel is valid Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays.
Quick Thoughts
It isn’t common to get a chance to save 30% on flights, so this could be a great deal for those with bookings to make. Since this is valid on all fare classes, you can even score a pretty great deal on premium cabin fares in many cases.
Keep in mind that Costco members should be able to stack this and use a $500 Gift Card that can be purchased online for $449.99 (though note that the Costco gift cards may not be delivered immediately, YMMV). Alaska currently has a pretty flexible booking policy, so booking is relatively low risk.

Kinda of a far fetched question, but since Alaska credited to American is based on distance, couldn’t one rack up a ton of EQD and EQM for AA in 2021 if flying first?
