Radisson is offering 30% off on premium rooms in select destinations when booking via the Radisson Hotels Americas app today (5/19/22 through 12am Central Time). They built this promo up with several emails this week, but now that it has launched, I find it relatively underwhelming: it only works at select hotels in select cities and only for stays by 6/30/22. If it lines up with your travel plans, great — but otherwise, it didn’t feel as exciting as they hyped it to be.

Quick Thoughts
Again, this is only valid in select cities and only when booking via the Radisson Hotels Americas app (and therefore it only works at Radisson properties in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean / Latin America and even then only at select hotels). All of that means this is basically a nice deal if you were already thinking about visiting one of the included hotels in the included cities and booking one of the included room types (I’m only seeing one type of premium room per hotel at the places I’ve checked), but otherwise I’d probably give this a miss.
Note also that this is only valid on paid rates, not on awards.
Nick, this is off topic but I hope you can answer my question. American Express lists our boat marina charges as transportation. When I switched it to the Chase sapphire card for bonus points on transportation, the charge now shows up as “shopping.” Any ideas on a work-a-round with any cc?
I don’t understand what this promo is about.
I don’t think anyone’s ever found a premium room in a Radisson Americas.
