Quick Thoughts
I only found this offer on a personal Platinum card. That makes it an OK deal at a total of 4 points per dollar on up to ~$167 in spend, though it isn’t show-stopping since the Amex Gold naturally earns 4x on restaurants and the Brex Cash card also earns 4x on restaurants. This offer just brings the Platinum card in line with cards that have a decent bonus category. That’s nice if you don’t have those other options and do have the Platinum card, but not worth the time to track the spend in my case.
On the other hand, if you find this offer on the Gold card or the Blue Business Plus, your total return could be better. And if you do plan to take advantage of this offer, it would make sense to stack with the offer to get 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for linking your Marriott and Uber Eats accounts and making a qualifying transaction (which is probably worth it whether or not you have this Amex Offer).

Does Brex make a distinction between “Food Delivery” and “Restaurants” categories in 4x? I’m pretty sure I only got 1x on UberEats. From the website, Brex does have different rewards schemes one can sign up for and one has Food Delivery but not Restaurants.
I had this one on my Plat, but then my Green had an offer for $5 off $15 Uber Eats order up to 5x. I hadnt noticed the Green one before, but not sure if its new.
Question? Player 2 got the Platinum card in December. But so far all AMEX offers have been for dollars and none for points. Is there something I need to do to receive affects where we get points? Our offer for the inner eats was $5 off of $15 5 times.

No, that just seems to be the way it works for “a while” after approval. Eventually the offers start coming in for Membership Rewards points. I have no idea why they do it that way.
