The Bottom Line
Singapore Airlines is a transfer partner will all of the major transferable programs (Ultimate Rewards, Thank You Rewards, Members Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest), making it easy to put together the miles for an award ticket. Singapore Krisflyer can also be a great place to credit paid travel on United since most fare classes still Krisflyer miles based on distance flown. Additionally, Singapore offers better rates for award flights on some of United’s flights than you could get using United miles — making Krisflyer a program worth looking into for new members.

I’m not sure exactly when the points will post, but promotions like these usually take at least a couple of weeks to post. Even a paid flight doesn’t post to your mileage account immediately — I’d give it a couple of weeks. If you don’t see any points 2-3 weeks after registering, try reaching out via email or Twitter to Singapore.

When do the points hit? I just signed up and used the code but it’s showing a zero balance.
I would expect at least 2-3 weeks. Promotions like these usually take a bit to hit your account. If it doesn’t post after 2 or 3 weeks, I’d reach out to Singapore via email or Twitter.
Does Singapore air have any code sharing partners that we could use?
Sorry for the late reply. Like I said, you can credit most United fare classes to Singapore to get credit based on miles flown. Alternatively, paid flights on any Star Alliance carrier (Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, SAS, South African, Thai, ANA, Air India, Air China, etc.) could be credited to Singapore. Check wheretocredit.com to see earning rates.
