A reader alerted us to the fact that there is a new offer available on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card through The Infatuation. While not as good as the targeted 70K offer that some people see (which requires logging in to an existing Chase account), this is better than the typical public offer and would be a better deal for someone without an existing Chase account or who is not targeted for the 70K offer.
The Offer & Key Card Details
- There is a new public offer out on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card via dining website The Infatuation that yields 65,000 Ultimate Rewards points after $4K spend in the first 3 months

Quick Thoughts
Chase Ultimate Rewards points are one of the most popular transferable award currencies and the Sapphire Reserve is a great fit for many. If you don’t immediately need the Sapphire Reserve’s 3x on travel and/or the ability to use Ultimate Rewards points at a value of 1.5c per point to book paid travel, it might make more sense to go after the Sapphire Preferred card first since that card typically has a better welcome offer. After you’ve had the Sapphire Preferred card open for at least a year, provided you have a large enough credit line, Chase will often allow customers to upgrade to the Sapphire Reserve. That strategy would yield more total points.
However, if you spend a large amount on travel and/or you will redeem a fair amount of points toward paid travel at a value of 1.5c per point, the Sapphire Reserve certainly may be a better fit. If it is, this offer beats out the typical public offer.
Of course, if you’re an existing Chase customer, see the “alternate offer” section in the card details above for how you can check for a targeted 70K offer (which requires logging in to an existing Chase account).
