Quick Thoughts

According to our Reasonable Redemption Values, 60K Wyndham Rewards points is worth about $600. In practice, you can sometimes do significantly better, whether while using points for a vacation rental via Vacasa or at one of Wyndham’s all-inclusive properties in the Caribbean.

That makes for a nice trade even if you don’t value the 3-night stay. If you do value the 3-night stay, this could work out to be a great deal.

Note that 13 destinations are included for $249. The landing page indicates that there are 17 other destinations available for a a slightly higher charge. A three night stay in New York City for $349 stands out as one example that could be a great value.

Keep in mind that timeshare presentations sometimes feature high-pressure sales tactics (and buying a timeshare firsthand is rarely a good deal). I recommend reading Stephen’s Wyndham timeshare presentation survival guide: Get your “no” face on to prepare. Still, I’d be willing to listen for 60,000 points. Just beware of all of the funny math that tends to be brought on during these presentations (I shared my experience with a Bluegreen Vacations presentation and some of their flawed math a few years ago).

You do need to mind the fine print here: if you’re married, you must attend together (and you must attend the presentation or you won’t get your incentive and may be billed at the prevailing rate). With these timeshare offers, you’ll sometimes be put up in accommodations at the resort you’re visiting (in condo-like accommodations) and other times at nearby partner hotels. You may prefer one or the other depending on the situation.

I can’t figure out a way to see the 13 qualifying destinations for $249. There is a rotating display box where it says $249 Choice of Destinations that seems to imply that the destinations included in that display are $249, but then I see some of those destinations listed at $299 in the display below that, so in typical Wyndham fashion the numbers don’t quite line up.

You’ll likely need to call to determine the exact list and it may vary based on dates.

Overall, this looks like a pretty good deal for those who can take advantage.

Nice post – most likely they’ll mirror the 18 properties found at this link (found via a search):
https://clubwyndham.wyndhamdestinations.com/vacationpreview/vacation-getaways/deals-and-specials
Note that on that page the “Your Choice” of destination option at the bottom lists these 13 (these are likely the base level offers):
Anaheim, CA
Atlanta, GA
Austin, TX
Branson, MO
Destin, FL
Fort Lauderdale, FL
Las Vegas, NV
Nashville, TN
New Orleans, LA
Orlando, FL
San Antonio, TX
Smoky Mountains, TN
Williamsburg, VA
It goes on to say this for the remaining 5 properties that are likely the higher price:
Note: Waikiki HI, Clearwater FL, New York, NY, Myrtle Beach, SC and Washington, DC are not included in this offer. Please purchase those locations separately.”

Thanks for this likely tip.
