American Express is out with a three-in-one transfer bonus today. That’s because you can get a 30% bonus when transferring Membership Rewards to Avios programs for British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus.
The Deal
- Get a 30% bonus when transferring American Express Membership Rewards to the following Avios programs:
- British Airways Club
- Aer Lingus AerClub
- Iberia Plus
Key Terms
- Expires July 15, 2025.
Quick Thoughts
It’s been almost a year since American Express last launched a 30% transfer bonus to Avios programs, so this is a welcome return seeing as the various Avios programs have the potential to offer great value when booking award flights.
Although Amex also offers Qatar Airways Privilege Club as a transfer partner, they’re not offering a 30% bonus when transferring to that Avios program. That doesn’t really matter though seeing as you can freely transfer Avios between the various different programs which includes Qatar Airways, Finnair and – most recently – Loganair.

Hey. I cannot locate the offer anywhere if I Login to my Amex Platinum Account. Any secret to finding it or only available in certain countries?
I was planning on transferring some MR to Hawaiian (then to Alaska). I think my most likely use was going to be for AA award flights. So now I have to do the math to see if I can get better values using an Avios partner for AA flights…
Also 25% bonus to Hilton
When does that start?
I see it already. Maybe it’s targeted? I saw another article about 30% targeted bonus.
Nothing in my account. Avios are showing up, but no Hilton
I see 20% in P1’s account and 25% in P2’s. So definitely targeted.
Iberia did a stealth devaluation around two weeks ago. I have not seen mention of this on any of the blogs but MIA to MAD went from 42.5k to 50.5k in business for off peak travel. They also changed all their distance award charts
Not a terrible devaluation but still worth mentioning.
Tim updated our Avios guide the other day to include details of the Iberia devaluation, but we are planning on writing a separate post about this.
So I saw it on the Iberia ap, yesterday June 1. I made a transfer AA Amex transfer of 100k to Iberia. No bonus Avios. Even worse, I chatted with Amex and they told me to contact Iberia. Said they had no idea there was a bonus.
Just did a transfer to BA and the bonus is visible in Amex before submitting the transfer. And I see the bonus amount in BA
