The United Quest card has a new offer out today that’s good for both a big haul of miles and a nice chunk of Premier Qualifying Points (PQPs), so it might be of particular appeal for United MileagePlus fans who are also chasing United elite status.

Quick Thoughts
This new offer will obviously be of high appeal to United Mileage Plus fans as it represents a nice haul of miles. That said, the miles alone may not be enough draw here given that there are other current opportunities to pick up transferable points that could be moved to United if and when you are ready to book an award.
However, those who are also chasing United elite status may find the 3,000 Premier Qualifying Points (PQPs) to be a strong draw here. That amount brings you halfway to Premier Silver status, which ordinarily requires 6,000 PQPs (or more than halfway if you will also take 15 Premier Qualifying Flights, which reduces the PQP requirement to 5,000 PQPs). More on United elite status requirements can be found here.
If the PQPs would make a meaningful difference in elite status and/or you are a frequent user of United miles, this bonus could certainly make this an appealing time to consider the Quest card. I find this to be the most attractive of the available United credit cards given the United TravelBank cash, credit for Renowned Hotels and Resorts, and award flight discount benefits in addition to the checked baggage benefits. United regulars could easily come out even with the annual fee or perhaps even a bit better depending on travel patterns.
On the flip side, if you aren’t strongly tied to United, I would probably prioritize a card that earns transferable points, which gives you greater flexibility in terms of award redemption.

Does anyone know the time frame Chase will match an offer? I believe I got this card back in March so was going to ask about a match.
