Rakuten is offering a boosted rate of 15x/15% for Dell today which could make this a great time to use Business Platinum credits for the second half of the year. This 15x rate is only valid today (July 16).

Quick Thoughts
15x is an excellent return on Dell purchases and it’s rare that you can get a rate higher than that. You might sometimes get targeted for a higher rate via Capital One Shopping, but their gift card redemption options leave much to be desired nowadays, so many will prefer to earn 15x Membership Rewards even if the Capital One Shopping earning rate is – in theory – higher.
Remember that Amex recently changed the Dell benefit on the Business Platinum card. You now only get up to $150 back in credits each calendar year, rather than getting twice-annual $200 credits. A new feature was added to the credit recently whereby you get $1,000 back when spending $5,000 on Dell purchases in a year, but unless you’re making Dell purchases for buying groups, most will only be looking to spend ~$150.
This 15x rate is only available today (July 16) and I believe Rakuten works on Eastern Time. That means those on the west coast only have until 9pm PT to take advantage of this higher rate.

If anyone is interested in something near $150, the insta360 flow 2 pro cell phone gimbal is listed at $160 right now. Not sure if it’s any good, but it’s a product I don’t remember seeing on dell.com before. That said, it was $145 all-in / after tax a week ago so.
Interesting that you mention the price increase for this product compared to last week. I also noticed several products on the Dell webside (including Philips lighting products) that now have a higher final price compared to when I purchased them two weeks ago even though Dell is now advertising a better discount. Very sneaky.
