Many Capital One cardholders are seeing a card-linked in-store offer to earn 15x miles (or 15% cash back depending on your card) at CVS, up to 1,000 miles. That means you’ll only get 15x on a purchase of up to about $67, but it’s a good reminder to keep an eye on Capital One’s card-linked deals.
The Deal
- Capital One has a new card-linked offer for CVS that’s good for 15x up to 1,000 miles (which means it is valid on up to $66.67 in spend) through 7/28/25. You’ll need to activate the offer in your Capital One account
Key Terms
- Must activate before using
- Use in-store by Monday, July 28, 2025
- Offer can only be used one time every 30 days for up to 1,000 miles (though note that this offer isn’t even valid for 30 days)
Quick Thoughts
This could make for a nice little bonus if you’re shopping at CVS for some small stuff anyway. Keep in mind that you can only use the offer one time for up to 1,000 miles, so multiple purchases likely won’t count even if they are cumulatively below the maximum threshold. Make sure that you spend ~$67 in one shot if you want the full 1,000 bonus miles.
This was also a good reminder for me to check out the other current card-linked deals. While Capital One is still thin on card-linked offers overall, it does seem as though they are expanding a bit. The 1,000 mile cap on most of these makes them of limited use, but at the same time if you’re out shopping anyway and using your Venture or Venture X card anyway, these could be nice additional bonuses.

There was an article here about a 3x CVS in store offer for JetBlue shopping. May be a stacking opportunity.
will purchasing Gift Cards (like Amazon) trigger the miles? or will it not qualify.
The offer is linked to you making a purchase in store. I don’t see any language about what type of purchase it needs to be or can or cannot be.
THanks–I tried this last fall on a Rakuten 15x offer for CVS and bought at $500 Amazon Gift Card. Coded fine and saw the 7500 points pending, but then a few days later said ineligible purchase.
