Quick Thoughts

Nearly all Amex Offers have some kind of specific spend requirement in order to earn a statement credit or lump sum of bonus points. This Vrbo Amex Offer is a rare exception as you can get the $70 statement credit regardless of how much the vacation rental you book costs.

The terms state that you have to book directly at vrbo.com/amex. Some Amex Offers mention links you’re supposed to use, but that’s not always enforced. That said, the fact that this Amex Offer not only specifically states that you have to book at vrbo.com/amex, but that you also can’t use a shopping portal, browser extension, etc. suggests that with this offer it might be prudent to follow the terms if you want the $70 statement credit.

Perfect for Boomers who think AirBnB is for kids and that this app is for them.

I would not waste time trying this. VRBO has cancelled tons of reservations.

Josh

just FYI it was posted on DoC and it seems like everybody booking cheap properties < $70 has gotten their bookings cancelled and credit clawed back

Troy

This one might be worth bookmarking for later – perhaps when it’s not hundreds of people booking cheap properties at once with the offer they won’t bother canceling.
