Caesars Rewards spending offers: $40 back from Amex and $25 back from Citi

1

There are a couple of targeted card-linked spending offers for Caesars Rewards at the moment that can save you up to 20% on your stay(s). Last month, Stephen already wrote about an Amex Offer for $40 back on $200+, and now there’s a new Citi Offer for $25 back on $250+. Stack the two together, and you could get $65 back on a $450 stay.

The Deals

  • Amex Offer: Spend $200+ on room rate & room charges at participating Caesars Rewards properties & get $40 back
  • Citi Offer – Get $25 back on $250+ spend

    • Reservations must be made directly with Caesars.com.
    • Offer only valid on room rate during the offer period.

Quick Thoughts

For most people targeted for both offers, the Amex Offer will be the more rewarding, as it has a lower minimum spend and more cash back. The Citi Offer, on the other hand, is a flat $25 statement credit, and only when you spend $250 or more.

That said, this could be a both/and deal rather than either/or. If your stay costs more than $450, you could ask the Caesars property to split the payment with $250 on your Citi card and the remainder on your Amex card (or vice versa).

Do note that the Amex Offer is only valid at Caesars locations in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Atlantic City. If you’ll be staying at a US-located Caesars property outside of those cities, the Citi Offer will be the card-linked offer you’ll want to use.

Don’t forget to stack both with a shopping portal to get even more rewards. You can see current rates here.

My wife Erin and my first big journey together went around the world in 100 days for our honeymoon, a trip in which I had one car accident and got one speeding ticket in every country that we visited (I think that I may still have an arrest warrant in New Zealand for an unpaid ticket, but we’ll keep that between us). We currently live in Washington State; we own a winery, ski after work and hike as much as our elderly knees will let us.
