Capital One Shopping has a one-day offer of 35-45% back on Viator. My offer is showing 40% on the Capital One Shopping landing page (see below), but other folks are seeing a different rate online or getting a higher rate through a targeted email.
If you find a different rate (or offer), let us know in the comments. This is part of Capital One Shopping’s week of offers, with one revealed daily. Best Buy is scheduled for Sunday.

Quick Thoughts
We have a love/hate relationship with Viator because they don’t seem to offer much consumer protection against vendor cancellations. Still, they often have cashback offers through portals that can make the pricing for activities incredible. I already have several trips booked next year through Viator for that reason.
Capital One Shopping can be strange when it tracks Viator purchases. It will sometimes show “ineligible” initially, then change to “tracked” after the trip is completed; other times, it shows the tracked amount immediately (that happened on all of my bookings for next year). Regardless, every Viator booking that I’ve ever made through Capital One Shopping has paid out once the activity was complete.
There are several card-linked offers currently valid for Viator, so be sure to check your cards. They will stack with Capital One Shopping. I currently have 6% back through Citi Merchant Offers, 8% back through a Chase offer, and $35 back on a purchase of $325 or more through Amex Offers.
Capital One Shopping rewards are only good for gift cards; they can’t be cashed out. However, there are currently a bunch of useful gift card options like Best Buy and eBay, which you could sell to buying groups for 90%+ of the face value.

BTW, anybody know what time of day C1 updates it’s offers? I’m in Thailand and find myself checking 2 to 4 times a day looking for big jumps at Agoda and booking.

Is there a cap on the amount you can get back?
I’m curious how you value the 40% vs the 20x Rakuten was offering last week? Trying to decide if I want to rebook with the Capital One offer.
FWIW – this may be stackable with the Chase offer. I currently have 8% cash back on Viator on my CSP.
Capital One Offers has 35x miles (or 35% true cash back) for people with a Capital One credit card or bank account which is fantastic. Often as the one-day only offers are redeemed throughout the day the offer drops so jumping on earlier is better.
