The points alone are worth more than the price, so if you can use one of the stays (and are steel-willed in the face of a timeshare sales rep), this could be an appealing deal.

This is a decent deal, as $279 gets you a three-night vacation plus 70,000 Choice Privileges points. The points alone are worth $470, so this could be a worthwhile opportunity if you also want to spend three nights at any of the eligible locations, including Myrtle Beach, the Ozark Mountains, the Smoky Mountains, New Orleans, Orlando, and more.
Nick attended one of these Bluegreen Vacations timeshare presentations with his wife and two children and made out like a fedora-wearing bandit because, in addition to the rewards for attending the presentation, they put him up at one of Marriott’s brands – not Choice’s – and he was able to earn bonus points and double elite night credits, as well as getting elite benefits during his stay. YMMV on that last part, but it’s worth being aware of the opportunity in case you’re able to put together something similar.
Something that always bears repeating on these timeshare posts – don’t take advantage of this kind of offer unless you’re certain you can withstand the sales pressure tactics and will be able to decline their most wonderful, one-of-a-kind, stupendous, I’m giving you my first born child, don’t tell the manager I’m giving you this incredible deal, you’re robbing me blind pitches.
