Roame sucks. Focus mainly for deals to Japan and Paris. No deals for longer routes to Australia/India/Maldives etc. I signed up for Roame and set alerts, and never getting any alerts for my trips, despite prices going down much lower than points i set for (I had set business class alerts at 100k, there were deals at 70K available and never got any alerts). Only alerts i got were phantom deals on Jetblue. I cancelled my subscription in one month. I have found better services with pointsyeah.com and seats.aero. My 2 cents… ‘Join Roame at your own risk”

However, if you have time, doing your own manual search gives best deals. And join Roame if you want to fly to Japan or Paris every month

You guys incessantly shill for these parasites. Won’t you ever stop making things worse for us all in your never-ending quest to squeeze out one more dollar from affiliate deals and put money in your pockets?

Kadels

The FM team shills a lot less than most. And they are very upfront about when a deal isn’t a deal, even when it is to their financial detriment.

Pretty sure that going into detail about the benefits of simply using the free version can’t be characterized as shilling.

It’s an example of how FM has established an organizational culture where honestly and transparency are cornerstone principles, as opposed to maximizing press time and daily asks for clicks.

I used to think that it didn’t go unnoticed, but appearantly some readers need a reminder, as they’ve allowed a healthy dose of cynicism to evolve into something that clouds their objectivity.
