IHG Business Rewards promo: Earn 2x points + 2 bonus elite nights for every $3K spent

IHG Business Rewards is currently offering members double points on stays, meetings, and conferences, along with two bonus elite night credits for every $3,000 spent with them, with a limit of 10 elite nights.

• To be eligible for the IHG Business Rewards 2X Points plus 2 Bonus Elite Night Credits per $3K spend (up to 10 Credits) offer (the “Offer”), a person must be an IHG Business Rewards member, which includes acceptance of the IHG Business Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, and the Business Rewards member must have registered for the Offer.
• By clicking “register now” in connection with the promotional materials for the Offer, a Business Rewards member is registering for the Offer and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
• Once an IHG Business Rewards member has registered for the Offer, the member will be eligible to earn double the IHG One Rewards points on Qualifying Spend for all stays, meetings, and/or events that are booked during the period from October 1, 2025, through March 4, 2026 (“Booking Period”) and completed during the period from October 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026 (“Offer Period”). Additionally, a member will earn 2 Bonus Elite Night Credits (up to 10 nights) for every $3,000 Offer-Qualifying spend during the Offer Period.
• The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotional offer, so please allow up to 6 weeks for any earned bonus points and Bonus Elite Night Credits to be posted to the recipient’s account.
• For this Offer, earning “2X” or “2X points” or “double points” on stays or events booked and completed within the Booking and Offer periods as set forth above means the total number of regular “base points” and promotional “bonus points” combined will equal two (2) times the base IHG One Rewards points the member would normally receive just for being an IHG Business Rewards member. Therefore, under the Offer, a member can earn three (3) base points for every $1 USD of Qualifying Spend and an additional three (3) bonus points for every $1 USD of Qualifying Spend, for a total of six (6) points for each $1 USD. The first three (3) base points earned are considered Elite Qualifying Points that count towards IHG One Rewards Elite status. The additional three (3) bonus points awarded as part of the Offer are Non-Elite Qualifying Points under the IHG One Rewards program.
• Earning two “Bonus Elite Night Credits” for every $3,000 Offer-Qualifying spend during the Offer Period, up to a maximum of ten (10) Bonus Elite Night Credits during the Promotion Period means for every $3,000 you spend under the Offer, you will be credited with two Elite Qualifying Nights for purposes of determining your Elite membership status and your Milestone Rewards earned under the IHG One Rewards program in the calendar year.
• “Bonus Elite Night Credits” do not qualify as Rollover Nights or as Qualifying Nights for any other purpose or benefit under the IHG One Rewards program.

Quick Thoughts

Note that this is an IHG Business Rewards promotion rather than a regular IHG One Rewards promo, so you’ll need to enroll in IHG Business Rewards if you’ve not done that in the past.

IHG Business Rewards is run on top of IHG One Rewards and it’s sort of possible to stack both personal and business accounts, but not in the way that you might hope. With IHG Business Rewards, you ordinarily earn 3 bonus points per dollar spent on stays, meetings, and conferences. That’s in addition to the points earned by the person who’s actually staying at the IHG property (if stays are indeed involved, rather than it just being meetings). With the double points element of this promotion, you’ll earn 6 bonus points per dollar for bookings you make for others.

However, you can’t earn points on your own stay there in order to also earn the (usually) 10x base points on your personal account – it only works when booking stays for others. You could have an IHG Business Rewards account and book a stay for your partner, colleague, friend, etc. – just not yourself. Similarly, your partner/colleague/friend who’s enrolled in IHG Business Rewards could earn double IHG Business Rewards points for booking you a stay, with you earning the regular points for the stay on your account.

This promotion has evidently been running since October, but you still have until March 4 to book stays and meetings that can take place through August 31, 2026.
