Loganair – a British airline that joined the Avios program last year – has launched a new sale that’s giving a 50% discount on award flights. Loganair awards usually cost a flat 6,500 Avios one way, so this sale means you can book those for only 3,250 Avios which can be an excellent deal.

The Deal
- Book Loganair award flights for 3,250 Avios one way.
- Direct link to offer.
Key Terms
- Book by February 10, 2026 for travel starting March 7, 2026.
- Excludes Orkney Inter Isles, plus interline and codeshare flights.
Quick Thoughts
A few years ago I took a few flights with Loganair as part of the 3 Cards, 3 Continents challenge as they operate the world’s shortest scheduled flight (less than two minutes) between the islands of Westray and Papa Westray in the Orkney Islands off the coast of Scotland.
That specific route is excluded from this Avios award sale as it’s an inter-Orkney flight, but that’s not a big deal seeing as the flight only cost $20, so it’d be better to pay cash anyway in that event.
Redeeming only 3,250 Avios for virtually any other Loganair flight though can be an excellent deal as the cash cost of those tickets can often be high in comparison to that low redemption level.
For example, to get up to the Orkney Islands I flew with Loganair from Aberdeen to Kirkwall. Prices for that route in March range from £106-£198 ($145-$271). Redeeming only 3,250 Avios would therefore get you anything from 4.46-8.34 cents per point of value.

Loganair isn’t a direct partner of any transferable currency. However, the fact that they use Avios means that you can transfer from a transferable currency to an Avios program such as British Airways and then transfer those to Loganair.

Perfect timing. I was just looking at a Loganair flight earlier today. I didn’t buy it for the cash price and I’m glad I didn’t. I just bought it using avios transferred from amex. Taxes of course are payable as well but it was still very reasonable.
Thanks for the tip and the post!
