Update 12:10 Eastern: Tickets are now sold out.
Starting today at 12:00 Eastern, Capital One Venture X cardmembers will have the opportunity to buy FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for matches in U.S. host cities. This is not a lottery; it will be an opportunity to purchase tickets for these matches, likely at market price. Only the top two pricing levels will be available for each match.
Chase did the same sale two days ago, and tickets were sold out within 20-30 minutes. If you want to get in on this one, be at your computer at noon sharp.
Note that this offer is for personal Venture X cardholders only; Venture X Business cardholders are excluded.

The Deal
- From February 12-24, 2026 (or while supplies last), Capital One Venture X cardholders will have an opportunity to buy FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets.
- Expect almost all tickets to be sold out within an hour.
Key Terms
- The Venture X Cardholder Offer is not available to all cardholders. To access the ticket sale, you must:
- Have an eligible Venture X Visa card and enter the 16-digit number on your card to access the chance to purchase tickets (access to the sale with a Virtual Card Number is not available)
- Be a Venture X primary account holder, account manager, or authorized user in good standing, meaning your account must not be currently, or become delinquent, closed, restricted, or otherwise not in good standing during the offer period.
- Not upgrade, downgrade or change your Venture X account to another credit card product during the offer or fulfillment period.
- Register for FIFA ID on the FIFA ticketing site.
- Eligibility for the Venture X Cardholder Offer is determined at the sole discretion of Capital One.
- New Venture X card applicants are not eligible if their new card is received after tickets have sold out.
- When purchasing, make sure the following information is accurate: eligible credit card number, security code, billing address associated with the card, name as it appears on the card, and expiration date.
- Venture X Business cardholders are not eligible for this offer.
- The Venture X Cardholder Offer on FIFA ticketing site opens on February 12, 2026, 12:00 p.m. ET and closes on February 24, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET, or until available tickets are sold out, whichever comes first.
- Tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first- served basis and are not guaranteed.
- Tickets are limited to 4 per cardholder.

Quick Thoughts
This looks similar to the sale FIFA ran for Chase cardholders a couple of days ago, but it’s only open to those who hold one Capital One card: the Venture X. In contrast, Chase’s sale was open to cardholders of multiple Chase products. In addition, Chase allowed each household to purchase up to forty tickets, while Capital One is limiting its cardholders to four tickets each. Hopefully, those stricter limits will make it easier for more people to actually score tickets.
This sale also seems more streamlined than Chase’s, which required you to click the “Access Tickets” button shown above, then wait for a unique ticket link that took you to FIFA’s website to sign in and view tickets. Each step in that process was overwhelmed with traffic and would error-out, making it extremely cumbersome to work through.
It looks like Capital One is taking you directly to a special platform to purchase tickets. If there is indeed only one step, it should be easier to get from verification to viewing inventory. Make sure that you register for a FIFA ID before the sale, and have your username and password ready. It will almost certainly slow you down significantly if you wait to sign up until the sale goes live.

I’m seeing 18% off with Capital One Shopping through StubHub. Price is still higher than what I’m willing to pay, but definitely lower than what I’m seeing elsewhere. If some readers have Korean heritage, I’m seeing a few seats for South Korea’s June 11 game in Guadalajara for under $400 per seat after the discount is applied.
I find it interesting that Cap1 is treating the personal Venture X and Business versions differently by not allowing the Business version to participate in this promo.
I currently have both and was thinking of getting rid of the personal version when the annual fee comes up in a couple months. I got the business version when we learned that it’s Priority Pass membership will continue to allow up to 2 guests after the February 1st change.
Now I’m wondering if I keep both, as I have no problem using the annual $300 travel portal credits for car rentals.
Bots
Yup.
I got in the queue right at 12pm EST. Sat there for 10 minutes while it gave me messages thanking me for my patience while waiting due to high demand.
Then a message popped up saying all tickets sold out. That was FAST!
I took advantage of the Venture X deal to buy Taylor Swift tickets a couple years ago and that opportunity lasted at least an hour before being sold out.
Arrgh. I wish this was never posted! Thanks for wasting my time!
Sold out in 10 min. Never got to the option to buy. What a joke.
Same, I opened the website exactly 5 seconds after 12 ET and couldn’t get in for the next 12 mins. Then the sold out message appeared. Absolutely pathetic ‘perk’ for VX cardholders.
Sold out in 10 mins. Website never loaded…
Complete waste of time…clicked Access Tickets at exactly moment turned blue…waited 10 min and everything sold out
It’s been 8 minutes and the website is still loading – what a mess!
Tickets seem incredibly expensive on FIFA website…minimum $2k?
but when I ask AI cheaper options are available!
What is the price range for these tickets?
I’m not sure your last 2 paragraphs are accurate. The link Capital One sent to access the promo is the same website (tevnt.com) that Chase used for theirs. That required you enter your card number, get it verified, then get a link to FIFA’s ticketing platform. Given that it’s the website I suspect it’s the same procedure here
