For months, public shopping portal Capital One Shopping has been offering a “Today’s Top Offer” boost for one specific merchant. While the exact targeted rates can vary, most (all?) Capital One Shopping users should see a boosted rate for the tour provider Get Your Guide today.
I’m seeing 45% back up to $1,000 back as the headline offer on my accounts, which can be a fantastic deal for those booking activities. However, Stephen found 60% back when scrolling down, so it’s worth hunting a bit within your home page offers.

Get Your Guide is a platform that provides guided activities, similar to Viator. I’ve never used it personally, but haven’t heard anything to suggest that it’s any more (or less) painful to deal with than other companies of the same ilk. Regardless, the potential for 45-60% back on activities is hard to ignore.
While the exact rates and terms can vary with Capital One Shopping deals, I am seeing 45% back up to $1,000 back. Keep in mind that Capital One Shopping rewards can only be redeemed for gift cards. The selection has improved quite a bit, and especially high-value options like eBay, Home Depot, and Best Buy come up from time to time. Still, it’s not the same as actual cash back.
When I compare Capital One Shopping to other portals that do offer cash, I usually think of it as 85-90% of the stated value. In this case, that’s still an incredible deal. If you’re already planning to book activities, this deal is worth a look.

Will this work with theme park tickets. I see you can buy after hours tickets for Disney World but I know often these deals do not work with theme park tickets. I have 60% off it just says not valid with gift cards.
I’ve used C1S offers for theme park tickets through Klook (both Disney and Universal parks), and have successfully earned 45–50% back. Those were huge wins. Hoping things are just as reliable with Get Your Guide, which I’ve never used before.
I love Capital One cashback, but I never do it for travel purchases because it rarely ever actually gives me the cashback.
