There are several different interesting Capital One Offers deals at the moment, all of which are targeted. One such example is the opportunity to earn 5,000 bonus miles when spending $200+ on gift cards at CardCash.

This is a superb offer if you’re targeted. CardCash is a website that resells third party gift cards at a discount, so saving money while also earning 5,000 bonus miles is an excellent deal.
There are quite a few things to be aware of here. One is that this is a targeted offer through Capital One Offers rather than Capital One Shopping. Capital One Offers is a shopping portal that’s only available for Capital One cardholders. To access your Capital One Offers, log in to your account and then scroll down to the section where it says ‘Activate shopping offers.’ Click on ‘View all offers’ and then use the search box to look for ‘Card Cash’. Note that even though the company’s name is one word – CardCash – it’s listed as two words (i.e. ‘Card Cash’) on Capital One Offers.
The 5,000 bonus miles rate will be what’s offered if you’re targeted on a miles-earning card. If your card earns cashback instead, a targeted member will presumably earn $50 bonus cashback.
Something else to bear in mind when making a purchase is that the amount you actually spend on gift cards needs to be at least $200. Seeing as CardCash resells gift cards at a discount, buying, say, four $50 gift cards for 15% off will mean your order total will be $170. You’d therefore need to spend at least $30 more in that scenario in order to hit the $200 spending threshold, despite the value of those gift cards being $200.
