Delta One Flash Sale to Europe: As low as 97k SkyMiles each way over the Summer

10

As discovered by the Thrifty Traveler Premium flight deal subscription service (our affiliate link), Delta is running an unadvertised flash sale on Delta One business-class flights to Europe this Summer. Fares seem to be the cheapest and most available for travel to and from Italy, Spain, France, and the UK, with options from many airports across the US on both coasts. Availability is between June and August 2026 and seems excellent right now.

Prices start at 115,000 miles one-way from both the East and West Coasts to Europe, but keep in mind that Delta now offers a 15% discount on award bookings for Delta cardholders. This 15% discount stacks with the sale, bringing prices as low as 97,750 SkyMiles for those with a Delta card.

Availability will likely get picked over quickly, so book ASAP if you’re interested.

Quick Thoughts

Delta One award pricing to Europe can be astronomical, often exceeding 300,000 SkyMiles one-way. So, while 97K/115K one-way may not sound like a great deal, it is in the world of Delta business class to Europe…especially over the Summer months. Availability is very good right now; here’s just one page of results from Seats.aero (non-stop business class is in green on the right):

These prices also apply to many smaller airports, so this is one instance where you should search directly from your home airport, as it may be the same price as leaving from a major hub. For example, here’s Omaha to London for 115K at the end of June:

Given the pricing and availability, it’s worth looking (and booking) soon, as it’s unlikely to last for long.

LAX-SEA-LHR in Delta domestic First and A330-900 suites for 3 of us booked for 97.7K + $5.60 each! Getting 10 hours on a 9:45pm west coast departure at that price is amazing. Can’t wait to try out the D1 lounge at LAX!!

Try D1 at both LAX and SEA!

Kind of depressing the 115k to Europe is considered a good deal. Better than cash I guess.

Came here to comment the exact same sentiment. 115k of any kind of miles does not seem like that great of a deal to Europe.

Thomas R

LOL, true. But Delta miles for me are just as hard to come by as any other currency, if not more so, so spending that many of them in one shot wouldn’t make sense. But maybe that’s just me.

Kevin

@Tim – those daytime flights to LHR in Economy are looking better and better!

Pierre

I guess consider what Flying Blue is “most” of the time at non-saver rates (plus don’t forget that Delta doesn’t charge significant fees/surcharges)

Thomas R

Also true…I suppose when you’re used to seeing Delta awards at rates that literally make you laugh out loud (like 450k o/w to Europe) then 115k seems pretty reasonable. Personally I would rather pay 50k Flying Blue miles with $500 in fees rather than 115k miles (but obviously would prefer ~50k and ~$5 in taxes, which I am often able to get on Alaska and AA). That stretches my points and allows me to fly in comfort more times for not that much money.

Pierre

base rate for US-Europe business class on Flying Blue is now 60K + $350 in fees ($600 in fees for the return). Though the 60K rates are really rare now and most often is 85-90K instead.
