Where do you put the promo code?
If I transfer a balance from a credit card to my Hawaiian card, then pay it off within 30 days, would I still get the payoff miles applied to Hawaiian frequent flyer card?
A balance transfer isn’t a purchase. You don’t earn anything on balance transfers.
According to comments in DoC article you are able to get both versions of this card, Bank of Hawaii and the regular non bank of Hawaii version. DoC has an article with links to the bank of Hawaii version with the 70k single purchase bonus.
Yep, that’s a good offer that’s been floating around our facebook group for awhile.
Unfortunately, it requires a branch ID, employee ID and referral ID, so it’s not something that we can use on the BO page.

Thanks for the heads up. The 70k welcome offer is still available, but now has a minimum spend requirement of $2k rather than just one purchase.
With a flight attendant code, there is still an option for $1000 spend (rather than $2000).
I’ve seen this but want to confirm I understand it correctly:
“inquiries are combined into 1 when approved same day” Meaning applying for multiple cards with Barclays (or whatever bank) on the same day, if both approved, would possibly increase 5/24 count (if personal cards or CO), but only one inquiry would appear on reports. Correct?
Realistically do most issuers that have this comment approve back-to-back cards like this? Thanks!
That’s correct. No, that’s not a given with all issuers…some do and some don’t (and Amex may not even pull your credit at all if you’re already a customer). Check out this post for more detail.

Where is the code?
Feb 3rd, 2025 – Just dropping in to confirm that the 6-digit code worked upon application and a few days after the first spend, 70k points were added into the Barclays Benefit account. However, on the Barclays rewards & Benefits page, there is a warning- allow 4-6 weeks for the bonus miles to be deposited into your HawaiianMiles account.
Doesn’t allow Puerto Rico Address. Might be annoying about UPS store addresses too
There’s a similar offer available through the Hawaiian website with no promo code required. I received 70K after $2K spend in three months, annual fee not waived.
Rules for the code are numbers between 000100 and 030000

I take it back, the code is still working. I entered the new address that’s not yet recognized, but at the end it just won’t go through without any message. Entered the previous address and it worked. Thanks FM!

I just applied the code at the link above, and got approved. I just moved so the new address was not recognized by credit bureau yet, but when I used my previous old address, it went through.
I just logged in to my Barclays Red Aviator account and saw 70K offer, up from usual 60K.
found a working promo code on reddit, approved instantly
i did a google search for “hawaiian airlines credit card application code”, clicked on getmyhawaiiancard.com “Secure Credit Card Application – Barclays” credit card link and it shows up with the 1 purchase offer so i applied and it went into review — fingers crossed
JFYI. just got an email from Hawaiian CC (masked as Barclays) thanking me for choosing to go paperless. I logged into my Barclays account, and sure enough I got the account and therefore approved. I am not sure how long this trick for the 1 purchase stays on, but with the recent moves of Amex blocking transfers to Hawaiian and the application code not working, it may not be too long this gets pulled as well.
