Hi Greg. Sorry, spell, correct :-).
Hi Gray. If I apply under my business does it appear on my personal credit report? I have some other airline business cards and they don’t. Thanks.
No it won’t.
Excellent, thank you Greg!
[…] you made purchases with an airline credit card, like the Bank of America Alaska Airlines Business Credit Card, you won’t be able to see your rewards on the Bank of America website, you will need to check […]
Regarding the 70K business card:
I am within the 24 months since I last had this card and so would not be able to apply for a while, however I see the language on the application states:
I also understand that I may be declined for additional credit card accounts if my business entity currently has, or has had, another business card with Bank of America in the preceding 24 month period.
I think this would allow me to get a card for a different business entity that has never had a BofA account. What do you think?
Yes that’s probably true, but I also think you have a good chance of getting approved even if you apply with the same business entity despite those terms.
So, if I apply, and the application is accepted, am I guaranteed to get the bonus?
I would never say “guaranteed” about anything, but I don’t think I’ve heard of people getting approved for BOA cards and not qualifying for the welcome bonus
Yes, of course, but your answer sounds fine for me. Thanks, Greg. I am almost back to under 5/24 and so need to plot my next strategy.
Thanks for the encouragement, Greg. I finally decided to make the plunge and applied for the same business card as I already have and was approved immediately, despite having 6 other cards with this bank, none of which I use much. I am a Premium client or whatever it’s called with various personal and IRA investment accounts so that may be the reason. I will let you know if and when the bonus posts.
Doctor of Credit has a better offer for $200 on top of the 40,000 miles. I am not posting the link here because spam filters sometimes auto delete comments with a link
Thanks! Working on updating the offer now…
DP: Instant approval for Business version. Last time I had this card was from July 2019 to Aug 2020. I have a BofA checking account so I’m sure that helps.
BoA Business recon permanently closed? Their direct line has been “closed” in the middle of the day for weeks.
Yes, I think I read somewhere that they closed their business recon department during the pandemic.
Does the 3/12 (7/12) limit refer to only new personal accounts in the last 12 mo, or personal+biz cards?
Also currently 40k+$200: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/bank-of-america-alaska-airlines-business-card-40000-miles-200-bonus/
And just saw Nick’s answer in response to this comment on a different post, thanks! So this limit only counts your personal cards in the last 12 months.

Small point: You say 40 miles + Companion Ticket for the Alaska Business card, should be 40K.
[…] discount code each year. Qualifying cards: Alaska Airlines Visa Signature consumer card (US), the Alaska Airlines Visa Business card (US), as well as the World Elite and Platinum Plus MasterCard […]
I want this card but everyone says BOA always asks for extra info on your business so not worth the hard pull in my opinion.
Currently 32500 offer available publicly
