(EXPIRED) Airline shopping portal bonuses: Earn thousands of extra miles

Several airlines are running back to school-themed shopping portal bonuses, which can be a good opportunitiy to stack some extra miles back on planned purchases. As always, be sure to comparison shop with a tool like CashBackMonitor.com to be sure you’re getting the best rate, but don’t forget to consider these payouts in your calculations. In addition to United, Delta, Alaska, and Southwest below, keep in mind that American is also running a current bonus, though it ends earlier (See: American Airline Shopping Portal: Earn Up To 1,500 Bonus Miles).

Bottom line

These types of promos can be a good way to stack some additional savings if you value the miles more than cash back alternatives. Keep an eye out for bonuses from some of the foreign portals as well over the coming weeks.
