8x Reward Points can be redeemed for savings of up to 20% on gas based on your original gift card spend. That’s a great return considering the wide range of retailers and restaurants that are eligible depending on which Happy gift card brand you buy. For example, Lowe’s, GameStop, Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy’s, Ulta Beauty and more are all represented here.
Alternatively, you can redeem Reward Points for savings on groceries. The return when redeeming points for groceries isn’t as good, but it’s a nice option to have if you wouldn’t be able to make use of all the points you earn for gas savings.
I initially thought that this could be a good way to save even more on Wayfair purchases considering they’re an eligible retailer on several Happy gift card brands and Way Day is coming up from April 28-29. However, it doesn’t look like any of these digital coupons are eligible for Happy brands that include Wayfair.

Never done the happy cards, so just thinking out loud here. Can the Just Because flavor be used to buy Meta Visas at Lowes, and stacking the deal with the current $15 Lowes visa GC promo? Could I technically buy one $411.90 Just Because Happy card with the Amex Platinum (10x at Safeway), earn 8x in J4U rewards, and then purchase two $200 visa GCs at Lowes, triggering $30 in Lowes Credit?
The Happy cards with Lowe’s available on them are all Swap cards which means they have to be redeemed online for gift cards for the eligible retailers. That unfortunately means you can’t use them in-store at Lowe’s to buy third party gift cards; that’d used to be possible, but unfortunately not anymore.
So, is there a happy card that still works at HD or BB&B?
There aren’t any Happy cards that can be used at Home Depot anymore in this way. Habitat For Humanity Giving Good cards are like Happy gift cards and can be redeemed for Home Depot gift cards, but they can’t be used in a Home Depot store to buy third party gift cards.
As for Bed Bath & Beyond, the following Happy brands are still an option for in-store:
