There’s a new targeted Amazon Amex Offer available this morning which can provide a great return on your Amazon purchases.
The Deal
There are a couple of varieties of this Amazon Amex Offer:
- Spend $50, get $20 back
- Spend $50, get 2,000 Membership Rewards
Key Terms
- Expires 5/31/18
- Enrollment limited
- Offer valid only for purchases on Amazon.com and the US Amazon mobile app. Not valid at international sites owned and/or operated by Amazon.
Quick Thoughts
If you have this offer on any of your accounts, load it to your card(s) ASAP as enrollment is limited. This’ll be a popular offer, so it’s unlikely to last long.
The statement credit version of the offer represents 40% savings, while the Membership Rewards version provides even greater value so long as you value MR at more than 1cpp.
My wife and I didn’t have this offer on any of our cards, but Greg and his wife had it on a few of their cards. Both their business and personal cards were targeted, although they only received the Membership Rewards version of the offer.
If you’re after a discount on Amazon purchases but weren’t targeted for this offer, check your cards for the Lowe’s Amex Offer. That gives a 20% discount and you should be able to buy Amazon gift cards at your local Lowe’s. That’s obviously not as good as the 40% discount from this Amazon Amex Offer, but it’s a great discount nonetheless.
I got $20 of $50 amazon offer. I bought $50 amazon gift card about three weeks ago. And I got the congratulations email fight away.
But never get the $20 cash back.
Did anyone get the cash back for the amazon offer?
Found it on 1 AU’s Blue Business Plus and Everyday Preferred. Another AU’s Everyday Preferred. None on any of our SPG, OBC, or Hilton Ascend.
Lowe’s offer filled up about half a day after it came out.
I still see the Lowe’s offer on some of my cards. I never added them because they are too far away from me.
Got it on 2 PRGs and 1 AU on a PRG. Are there any other DPs for it being found on other cards?
Greg had it on the Blue Business Plus, so it looks like it’s on a variety of cards. I’m not sure if it’s only on MR-earning cards though or other ones like SPG and Hilton.
