Last week the Alaska Airlines shopping portal launched a promotion offering 500 or 1,000 bonus miles when spending $150 or $300 respectively. That promotion will be ending tomorrow (January 14), but a couple of additional shopping portal bonuses will be taking its place – American Airlines and United.

The bonuses and spending requirements are the same, so the only difference is that these new promotions will be around until January 21.

Quick Thoughts

This works out to be a bonus of 3.33 miles per dollar if spending exactly $150 or $300. That can be a great bonus for retailers where the normal rate is only 1x through the portal (e.g. Best Buy), but as always it’s best to compare rates on Cashback Monitor to ensure you’re getting the best possible return as other portals might offer better rates even after accounting for these bonuses.
