American Express has released a new offer giving a $5 statement credit with a $25 or more purchase at Dollar General or Dollar General Market. A similar offer ran back in August, however this new one allows for up to 3 statement credits per American Express card.
The Offer
Get a $5 statement credit each time you use your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $25 or more in-store at Dollar General and Dollar General Market by 12/31/2015. Limit 3 statement credits.
Loading to Your Amex Cards
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a Twitter hashtag corresponding to this offer, so it appears it can only be loaded via the American Express website. I did find it available under the Amex Offers section on many of my American Express accounts, but others have reported not seeing it, so it is definitely targeted.
Key Terms
- Valid in-store only.
- Not valid on online purchases.
- Valid at Dollar General and Dollar General Market stores.
- Valid at any participating location in the US.
- Limit 3 statement credit per American Express online account

0/4 here as well. Must be targeted
I think it’s targeted. Showed up on 1 of my 4 cards. Tried tweeting the offer and it didn’t take on any card. So I went back and signed up on the 1 card the old fashioned way.
0/5 on my cards 🙁
