(EXPIRED) Best Western: Earn 1k Points Per Night Or 3k Points Per Stay (Book By May 6 For Stays Through July 31)

Best Western has launched a couple of new promotions which match a couple that they ran a few months ago. You can only register for one of them though, so the best one for you will depend on how long your stays will be.

You’ll need to be quick though because even though these promotions are valid on stays through the end of July, you have to make your reservations by tomorrow (May 6).

• An “eligible stay” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western branded hotel, at a rate eligible for earning points or airline/partner rewards, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, a stay booked through a tour operator, or a stay booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on eligibility criteria). Multiple check-in/check-out at the same property with less than 24 hours between check-out and check-in will only count as one eligible stay. Eligible stays which take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before Saturday, July 31, 2021 to be counted towards the promotion.

Quick Thoughts

As mentioned above, these two promotions are the same as two that Best Western ran at the beginning of February. With those promotions you could only register for one of them and the same is true with this new set. That means you’ll need to work out which will be the most rewarding for you based on how long your stays will be. If your stays will be three nights or longer, it’d be best to register for the offer giving 1,000 bonus points per night. If every stay will be for three or fewer nights, you’d be better off with the option giving 3,000 bonus points per stay.

The terms state that you have to have been pre-selected for the offer by email, but it doesn’t look like that’s enforced. I was targeted for the 1,000 bonus points per night offer, but to test it out I tried registering for the 3,000 bonus points per stay offer and was successful. That suggests that even if you didn’t receive an email for either offer, you should be able to register for whichever one you want.

These promotions are valid for stays through the end of July, but note that you have to actually make your reservation by tomorrow night (May 6).
