Best Western has returned with another promotion, this time offering 2,000 bonus points per night on up to 10 nights in the next few months.

- Best Western Rewards (“BWR”) members (“Rewards Member(s)”) who (a) register for the promotion and book travel on bestwestern.com between January 27, 2025 and February 2, 2025, and (b) complete a qualified night* between January 27, 2025 and May 11, 2025 (“Promotion Period”) at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands will earn 2,000 Bonus Points for completion of the qualified night.
- A Rewards Member can earn 2,000 Bonus Points a maximum of ten (10) times during the Promotion Period. The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 20,000 Bonus Points per Rewards Member.
- Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first qualified night. Qualified nights completed prior to promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements. BWR enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com.
- * A “qualified night” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of at least one night at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada or Caribbean, at a rate eligible for earning Points, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, booked through a tour operator, or booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on qualifying criteria).
- Multiple check-ins/check-outs at the same property with less than 24 hours between check-out and check-in will only count as one qualified night.
- Qualified nights that take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before May 11, 2025 to be counted towards the promotion.
- Please allow two (2) weeks after the qualified stay for the Points to be posted.
Quick Thoughts
We peg the Reasonable Redemption Value of Best Western points at 0.61cpp (cents per point). That means that the 2,000 bonus points you’d earn each night could reasonably be expected to get you at least $12.20 of value when redeemed for award stays in the future. While that’s not a stellar return, it could be a fairly good offer if you stay in more reasonably priced Best Western properties.
One of the nice things about Best Western promos is that they often having two or more promos running concurrently. That’s no exception right now, because for the next few days you could stack this new promo with an offer giving 5,000 bonus points for every two nights you stay. Staying two nights would therefore earn you 9,000 bonus points on top of your regular earnings. All those points should be worth at least $55+ which could make it worth moving a stay from another chain to Best Western if that stay will be happening by February 2 (the date the 5k promo ends).
There’s a Best Western Chase Offer giving 10% back that’ll stack with this, as will clicking through from a shopping portal. Portal rates for Best Western tend to be higher than most other hotel chains, but you might be able to do best of all via Capital One Shopping. I received an email from Capital One Shopping a few days ago offering 8% back at Marriott, but further down that email was an offer for a massive 35% back at Best Western, with a limit of $250 cashback. That rate was nuts, but hopefully others can get that offer too.
