Best Western has launched a new promotion and, as is often the case with them, you only have a small window to make your reservation(s) in order to earn the bonus points.
The Deal
- Earn 5,000 bonus points per stay when booking with Best Western.

Key Terms
- Best Western Rewards (“BWR”) members (“Member(s)”) who (a) were pre-selected by Best Western Hotels & Resorts to receive this offer via email; (b) register for this promotion by February 4, 2024, 11:59 pm PST; (c) have a valid email address listed in the Member’s account profile at the time of registration for the promotion; (d) book travel between Monday, January 29, 2024 and Sunday, February 4, 2024, on bestwestern.com; and (e) complete an eligible stay* by Sunday, May 5, 2024, (“Promotion Period”) at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands, will earn 5,000 BWR Bonus Points for each eligible stay.
- A Rewards Member can earn 5,000 Bonus Points a maximum of ten (10) times during the Promotion Period. The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 50,000 Bonus Points per Rewards Member.
- Member’s earning preference must be set to Points. Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership required prior to the first eligible stay. Eligible stays completed prior to promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements. BWR enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com.
- Please allow up to 2 weeks after the eligible stay for the promotion points to be posted.
- *An “eligible stay” for the purpose of this Promotion is defined as a stay of one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western branded hotel, at a rate eligible for earning points or airline/partner rewards, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, a stay booked through a tour operator, or a stay booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on eligibility criteria). Multiple check-in/check-out at the same property with less than 24 hours between check-out and check-in will only count as one eligible stay. Eligible stays which take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before Sunday, May 5, 2024 to be counted towards the promotion.
Quick Thoughts
The terms state that you need to have received an email about this offer, but from what I can remember of similarly-worded Best Western promos in the past, it’s been possible to register for them even if you didn’t get an email.
5,000 bonus points is a pretty good return, especially if you happen to be booking one night stays as you earn the points on a per-stay basis rather than per-night.
Seeing as this promo is only valid on paid stays, be sure to click through from a shopping portal – you can find the current rates here and here. Also check Capital One Shopping as they sometimes offer generous cashback rates on a targeted basis. There are often Best Western Amex Offers and Chase Offers that can save you money too; I’m not aware of any right now, but with the start of a new month just around the corner, we might see new offers appearing on February 1.
Note that in order to earn the 5,000 bonus points, you have to book by February 4. You don’t have to stay by then as it’s valid on stays through May 5, but there is a short window to make your reservation(s).
One of the nice things about Best Western promos is that they frequently overlap with other subsequent promotions. I therefore wouldn’t be surprised if in addition to earning 5,000 points points you have some other kind of additional promo you can register for that’s valid for the same dates as the stay(s) you book for this offer.
