Best Western has opened registration for a new promotion that awards 5,000 bonus points for every two nights you stay through February 1, 2026.

- Best Western Rewards (“BWR”) members (“Rewards Member(s)”) who register for this promotion on bestwestern.com/5kbonuspoints or as otherwise permitted (e.g., at the front desk of any Best Western branded hotel) will receive 5,000 BWR bonus points (“Bonus Points”) (which equals $25 off a future stay using Pay with Points) for every two (2) qualified nights* stayed at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean between December 1, 2025 and February 1, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
- A Rewards Member can earn 5,000 Bonus Points a maximum of four (4) times during the Promotion Period. The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 20,000 Bonus Points per Rewards Member.

- Rewards Members’ earning preference must be set to BWR points (“Points”). Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first qualified night. Qualified nights completed prior to promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements.
- Please allow two (2) weeks after the qualified nights for the Bonus Points to be posted.
- A “qualified night” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of at least one night at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean, at a rate eligible for earning Points, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, booked through a tour operator, or booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on qualifying criteria). Qualified nights that take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before February 1, 2026 to count towards the promotion.
Quick Thoughts
Best Western is advertising this as awarding a $25 gift card for every two nights you stay. In reality though, you’re earning 5,000 bonus points for every couple of nights that you stay, with a $25 gift card redemption being one option for what you can do with the points, but it’s not obligatory.
What makes this promotion a little more useful is that the nights don’t have to be consecutive. You could therefore stay one night at one Best Western property and a second night at a different (or even the same) property another time and earn the bonus points. You can do this on up to eight nights worth of stays to max out the potential 20,000 bonus point earnings.
Don’t forget to click through from a shopping portal before booking. It’s often possible to earn high levels of rewards for paid Best Western stays; we often see Rakuten at 10x-15x, with Capital One Shopping often going even higher on a targeted basis.
There’s also a targeted Best Western Amex Offer giving $50 back when spending $250 that’ll stack nicely with this promo if you’ll be spending at least $250 on your stay(s).
Note that although registration is open, it’s only valid on stays starting from December 1. It’s also only valid on stays in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. Hopefully they launch at least one promotion that’s valid for worldwide stays for those who’ll be traveling further afield and staying in Best Westerns there.
