Best Western has launched a couple – or possibly even more – new promotions. One we’ve seen is for 2,500 bonus points per stay and another is for double points on stays.
The Deals
- Best Western is running the following promotions:
- Earn 2,500 bonus points per stay
- Earn double points per stay
Key Terms
- 2,500 bonus points promo
- Best Western Rewards members who (a) register for the promotion and book travel between August 25, 2025 and August 31, 2025, and (b) complete a qualified stay between August 25, 2025 and November 30, 2025 (“Promotion Period”) at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands will earn 2,500 Bonus Points for completion of the qualified stay. A Rewards Member can earn 2,500 Bonus Points a maximum of ten (10) times during the Promotion Period. The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 25,000 Bonus Points per Rewards Member.
- Rewards Members’ earning preference must be set to BWR points (“Points”). Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first qualified night. Qualified nights completed prior to promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements. BWR enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com.
- A “qualified stay” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of at least one night at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada or Caribbean, at a rate eligible for earning Points, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, booked through a tour operator, or booked at a special discounted rate (see BWR program rules for further information on qualifying criteria).
- Multiple check-ins/check-outs at the same property with less than 24 hours between check-out and check-in will only count as one qualified stay.
- Qualified stays that take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before November 30, 2025 to be counted towards the promotion.
- Promotion is not valid with any other offer, promotion, or discount.
- Please allow two (2) weeks after the qualified stay for the Points to be posted.
- Double points promo
- Best Western Rewards members who (a) register for this promotion on bestwestern.com/globaldoublepoints or as otherwise permitted (e.g., at the front desk of any Best Western branded hotel) and (b) complete a qualified stay between September 2, 2025 and November 30, 2025 (“Promotion Period”) at any Best Western branded hotel globally, will earn Double Points for completion of the qualified stay.
- There is no limit to the number of Double Points a Rewards Member can earn during the Promotion Period. Rewards Members’ earning preference must be set to BWR points (“Points”). Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first qualified stay. Qualified stays completed prior to promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements. BWR enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com.

Quick Thoughts
The terms of both promotions state that each “Promotion is not valid with any other offer, promotion, or discount.” While that’s true in a sense, I suspect that you can double dip if you’re able to register for both offers.
I say “true in a sense” because I imagine that you’ll be able to earn both 2,500 bonus points per stay and double base points on those stays, provided your stays take place during overlapping promotion dates. What you should expect (unless Best Western has set up the promos incorrectly on the backend) is that the 2,500 bonus points won’t get doubled; only the base points you’ll earn will be.
All that said, I believe that Best Western has occasionally run concurrent promotions in the past where they only let you register for one promo or the other. I’d therefore recommend registering for the best offer for your individual circumstances first, then register for the other afterwards just in case.
If you can only register for one of these promos, the best offer for you will depend on your expenditure and length of stay. For one night stays, earning 2,500 bonus points will likely be best unless you’re paying a high room rate. For stays costing $250 or more, it’d be best to register for the double points promotion first, then the 2,500 bonus points offer. That’s because Best Western awards 10 base points per dollar spent, so spending $250 on a stay would net you 2,500 bonus points from the double points offer.
Seeing as these will be paid stays, remember to click through from a shopping portal first. You can find the current rates here and here, but also check Capital One Shopping as they sometimes give high targeted cashback rates for Best Western stays. For example, just this morning I got an email offering 28% cashback.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Best Western has one or more additional promos floating around out there, so if you receive an email with a different type of offer, please share the registration link in the comments below.
