Frequent Miler's latest team challenge, Million Mile Madness, is happening now! Follow us as Greg, Nick, and Stephen compete to earn 1 Million SAS miles by flying 15 airlines before November 23rd. Who will complete the challenge with the most Speed, Affordability, and Style?

Follow along here!

Choice Privileges and Bluegreen Vacations have released yet another timeshare presentation offer, this time giving you a three-night stay and a $275 Mastercard gift card for $275. The gift card effectively pays for the stay, so if you can use one of the destinations (and are steel-willed in the face of a timeshare sales-rep) this could be an appealing deal.

Bluegreen Vacations

The Deal

  • Get a 3 night hotel stay + a $275 Mastercard gift card for $279 from Bluegreen Vacations.

Terms and Conditions

  • Must be 25 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license or government-issued identification and a valid personal credit card bearing a MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®, or Discover® logo, have a gross annual household income of at least $50,000 (this income requirement may be waived if I, my spouse, or my cohabitating significant other who is participating in this offer with me is 62 years of age or older) and have a minimum credit score as established by this offer’s sponsor (currently a FICO® score of 600).
  • You must attend and complete an approximately two-hour Bluegreen Vacation Club® sales presentation and tour.

Quick Thoughts

$279 gets you a three night vacation plus a $275 gift card, so this could be a worthwhile opportunity if you also want to spend three nights at any of the eligible locations, which include Myrtle Beach, Ozark Mountains, Smoky Mountains, St Augustine, Charleston, New Orleans, Savannah and more.

Nick attended one of these Bluegreen Vacations timeshare presentations with his wife and two children and made out like a fedora-wearing bandit because, in addition to the rewards for attending the presentation, they put him up at one of Marriott’s brands – not Choice’s – and he was able to earn bonus points and double elite night credits, as well as getting elite benefits during his stay. YMMV on that last part, but it’s worth being aware of the opportunity in case you’re able to put together something similar.

Something that always bears repeating on these timeshare posts – don’t take advantage of this kind of offer unless you’re certain you can withstand the sales pressure tactics and will be able to decline their most wonderful, one-of-a-kind, stupendous, I’m giving you my first born child, don’t tell the manager I’m giving you this incredible deal, you’re robbing me blind pitches.

What is the anti churning language on these offers? I took one in September of 2023 in exchange for 50K Choice points, and I wouldn’t mind taking another one again for “free”.

I like that the promo image even tells you to “Fall for it!”
