Quick Thoughts
We’ll keep this short and sweet as availability seems to be drying up already. The ability to book 8 people in business class to Europe using miles – even if it is only with TAP Air Portugal – is excellent, particularly seeing as it can cost as little as 35,000 LifeMiles.
Other US airports include Newark, Dulles, Miami, Boston, Chicago O’Hare and Montreal. I didn’t find any availability on the dates I checked, but there’s apparently some availability from San Francisco to Lisbon too.
Nick also notes that this availability is pricing out at 35K miles on Brussels Airlines when connecting to Lisbon and he found some dates with four seats available.

What doest the comment “even if it is only with TAP Air Portugal” mean?
Airline does not have a great reputation for quality.
I see business ORD-LIS for 63,000 miles? Is that a distance band thing when compared to JFK at 35,000?
Lifemiles has a sweet spot for the JFK – LIS flight on TAP (eastbound only) at 35k. Otherwise business to Europe is generally 63k.
Booked mid July for 4 via BRU for same price. Availability is pretty open via BRU.
By BRU do you mean flying Brussels Airlines (code SN)? This post is about flying TAP. Or your destination is BRU airport, in which case I don’t understand “via BRU”?
