Quick Thoughts
Cambria and Ascend are two of Choice’s more desirable brands to stay at, so this Amex Offer is a great way to save up to 25% on stays at their properties in the US.
Choice is running a series of deals this week they’re calling Members Only Madness. That kicked off yesterday with an offer giving 5,000 bonus points on a stay of 3+ nights, so this Amex Offer will stack nicely with that separate promotion if you happen to book a 3+ night stay at a Cambria or Ascend hotel.
I want to split payment between 2 amex cards. Can I call the hotel and make the reservation? It says must be online or thru the app. I am afraid amex will not receive the correct info.
Booking over the phone should work too. However, you might be able to book online depending on the type of rate you book. If it’s paid when arriving, you can ask them to split the payment when checking in.
Thanks @stephen! Do you know if these hotels sell gift cards? (That can be used at other Choice Hotels?)
I’m not sure I’m afraid. The fact that gift cards are excluded when purchased online suggests that Choice does sell gift cards, but I’m not sure if it’s possible to buy them from the front desk of hotels.
