The current, public welcome offer on the Chase United Quest card is 70,000 United Miles and 500 Premier Qualifying Points. But that’s not quite the best offer out there. Danny the Deal Guru has unearthed a fairly straightforward way to get to an improved 80K offer. You have to log-in to access this, so we can’t list it as the main offer on our best offers page. Instead, we’ve added it as an “alternate offer.”
I’m not certain if this offer is targeted to certain accounts or something that shows up for everyone. (Update – It sounds like this is indeed targeted and not all folks see it in their Mileage Plus accounts)

Quick Thoughts
The Quest is something that I’ve had on my backburner since it first came out, I’ve just been waiting for the offer to creep back up. It offers up to $125 in statement credits annually for United purchases and two 5,000-mile rebates on your first two United award bookings each year. These two factors alone could almost make it a break-even prospect before even considering the primary rental car insurance and two free checked bags for the cardholder and one companion.
This 80K offer is interesting and I think that, for someone who uses United at least a couple of times a year, the benefits could make up for the $250 annual fee. Not to mention that 80,000 UA miles is a pretty good haul for $4,000 in spend.
The United Quest falls under Chase’s 5/24 rule, so check out Greg’s post on ways to check your status if you’re uncertain of where you stand.
I believe it’s targeted. Checked P1-P5’s accounts and all have 70,000 miles on $4,000 MSR.

Followed the steps and the offer did not show for me FWIW.
Any data points on whether Travelbank will trigger the $125 credit?
