Get a 45% discount when buying Choice points (buy points for 0.57 cpp)

Choice Privileges has launched its latest points sale. This latest deal gives a discount of up to 45% which means you can buy points for as low as 0.57 cents per point. That’s a much better decrease on the price per point compared to recent sales and can be a good deal.

The Deal

    • 8,000+ points = 45% discount
  • Direct link to offer (our affiliate link).

Key Terms

  • Transactions must be completed between 12 AM EDT July 14, 2026 and 11:59 PM EDT July 20, 2026 to be eligible for this discount offer.
  • There is an 8,000 point purchase minimum that applies.
  • Must be a Choice Privileges Rewards Program member; Points will be posted to your Choice Privileges account within 24 hours after your transaction is complete.
  • Purchased points do not count toward Elite Status or Lifetime Elite Gold Status.
  • Transactions are final and non-refundable.
  • Offer may not be valid for all members.
  • Price includes all applicable fees.
  • A GST/HST charge applies to purchases by Canadian residents.
  • An additional QST charge applies to purchases by Quebec residents.
  • Purchased points are not refundable and are applicable towards all Choice Privileges rewards.

Quick Thoughts

If you’re interested in buying Choice points with this latest sale, it’s worth checking the pricing available on your account as there are sometimes targeted discounts that are higher or lower than other people see on their accounts.

We peg the Reasonable Redemption Value of Choice Privileges points at 0.75 cents per point (recently raised from 0.67 cents per point). That’s a higher value than the price available with this latest sale, plus there are opportunities to get outsized value with Choice points, so it shouldn’t take much effort at all to come out ahead when buying points with this latest sale.

Despite these points purchases being processed by Points.com, a reader pointed out in the past that you earn 5X or 10X by buying these points with a Choice credit card (depending on which of the cards you have), as it treats it the same as spending at Choice properties.

You can also click through from a shopping portal to earn additional rewards on the purchase.

Anyone else having issues accessing the link? FM (and other blogs) appear to have unique links, but I can’t get any to work

Steve

Hi Stephen – Yes that worked great! Thank you

Shubhank

Wait a second, how is 45% 0.57 cpp while 50% shows 0.69cpp in recent/past sales at bottom of the post ??

Shubhank

I will have to quote another comment:
“I see, said the blind man”. Seriously didn’t see or understand the diff between bonus and discount before, now this looks even more tempting.

0.57cpp can come so handy specially in Japan/Nordic countries, might just hoard 100k points.

Chris

As has been the case with recent promotions, I am seeing a slightly better bonus if you buy points using the branded Wells Fargo cards. This time around it is 40%. Earlier this year it was 50% (using the credit card). Just a data point for consideration.

Similarly, today’s new promo gives 50% off if you have the Wells Fargo Choice Privileges MC. As best I can tell, this is the only real benefit of holding on to that card, because you can earn more Choice hotel points spending on Wells Fargo’s basic Autograph card.

TRom

The Choice card has another benefit. Your points purchase counts as a hotel purchase, so it earns you even more points. I think it’s the only hotel card where this is true.

I did a google AI search on this and it said I would only receive 1x points. AI can, of course, be wrong.

I plan to make a small points purchase with my Choice CC this week. I’ll report what I earn.

John

Stephen, Would you buy at this price or wait for a better sale?

Bob

If you don’t have an immediate need I would wait. There have been better sales in the past.

John

Thank you Stephen
