Priority Pass has added yet another restaraurnt to the growing list of places where you can get a $28 dining credit with your Priority Pass membership: Bar Symon at Cleveland Airport.
According to the key terms on the Priority Pass page for this location, you must present your card prior to ordering and you will receive a $28 credit for you and $28 for each guest you bring, billed as 1 visit per guest to your Priority Pass card. That can be used toward food and/or drinks, but does not include gratuity (and any remaining balance can’t be used towards gratuity). Remember that different cards come with different guest policies. For instance, the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Ritz-Carlton cards don’t have any stated limit on the number of guests you can bring. Amex Platinum cards limit you to 2 guests. The Amex Platinum cards include two guests. Be sure to review the guesting policy on your card prior to your visit.
You also need to show a same-day boarding pass to use your Priority Pass, though Lucky at One Mile at a Time suggests that either a departing or arriving boarding pass should work. If that’s the case, this could be a great way to grab a bite before heading into your hotel / home / etc.
Personally, I’m thrilled to see these restaurant options expand. While it’s nice to have the quiet atmosphere of a lounge from which to work, most domestic Priority Pass lounges have been getting crowded and/or limiting access because of overcrowding. I think I’d more often like to be able to order a full meal. I imagine $28 will get you pretty close to a full meal with a non-alcoholic drink, anyway.
This expansion is also a good reminder to make sure you’ve got the most recently updaded database downloaded in your Priority Pass app, as locations have been added at a decent clip. You wouldn’t want to think you have no lounge options only to find out later that you missed out on a free meal.
H/T: One Mile at a Time
Stoped in At Bar Symon yesterday morning, for the breakfast menu. Was hard to get to the $28 dollar mark. Was a great place to visit and eat
Nice! Glad to hear it.
